Meet Wendy Simkin, REIKI MASTER Teacher/Practitioner

Wendy was drawn to healing arts from a young age, eventually becoming a licensed, Ph.D. in psychology. After over 30 years serving as a therapist in private practice and consulting psychologist for several of the Philly Main Line schools, she pursued training in Reiki. Thoroughly inspired by Reiki’s potential to impact mind, body & spirit, she pursued her training to the Reiki Master level, for both Teaching and Practicing.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A SESSION?

No prior experience of any kind is needed. The client is fully clothed the entirety of the session. After chatting around current concerns for 15 minutes or so, you will be made comfortable on a heated massage table. Every session is a supportive, gentle experience tailored to your needs.

WHAT IF I FEEL EMOTIONAL DURING or AFTER A SESSION?

It’s natural for feelings to arise as stress is released. You’ll be gently supported through the session and receive aftercare suggestions to help you integrate calmly afterwards.

WHAT is the CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours notice. Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours are charged in full.

IS REIKI MEDICAL or PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT?

No. Reiki is designed to support relaxation, self-awareness and personal growth. Reiki is, however, very valuable before and after a medical procedure, and is used at many cancer treatment facilities to ameliorate and even remove the negative effects of cancer treatments.
